This is a curated collection, not an official ranking. Terrain comes from USGS and state lidar programs; aerial imagery comes from USDA NAIP where available. Every scene includes its data provenance and grid spacing.
100 HD scenes use native 1 m or finer lidar elevation sources sampled to a 1 m grid. Available 4 km landscapes open by default, with their original 2 km detail crops a tap away. Near data boundaries, the wider footprint may shift slightly while retaining the complete original detail crop. Locations without complete wider coverage retain their 2 km scene and show the limitation. Imagery uses the best verified native NAIP resolution available for each crop: 30 cm, 60 cm, or 1 m, labeled on every HD card. Six original locations without complete 1 m source coverage remain available as additional overviews. Display and export resolutions are shown separately; unavailable aerial coverage is presented as elevation only. Trees and cliffs are draped photographs over a terrain surface, not a full photogrammetric model.
